Where We Work
While rooted in Montgomery County, Maryland, we proudly serve homeowners across Maryland and Northern Virginia, depending on project scope. We are fully insured and bonded, holding both a Maryland MHIC license and a Virginia Class A Contractor License with Commercial Building (CBC) and Residential Building (RBC) classifications. The Virginia Class A with CBC/RBC is among the most rigorous contractor licenses in the country, requiring extensive construction knowledge, verified experience, and multiple technical exams.
Community Involvement
We are active members of the Maryland Building Industry Association, the National Home Builders Association, and the Gaithersburg and Germantown Chambers of Commerce. Our community engagement includes sponsorship of the Gaithersburg Book Festival and founding sponsorship of Brunch with Brothers, a Rockville-based nonprofit dedicated to mentoring youth.

Roy Gabriel
Director of Customer Experience
With a rich and varied background, Roy brings a unique blend of skills and experience to our firm. He proudly served in the United States Army for six years as an Infantryman, an experience that instilled a strong work ethic, discipline, and leadership skills. After his military service, he transitioned to a career as a Controls Electrician, dedicating 14 years to specializing in building automation, life safety, structured wiring, and intrusion systems. His expertise quickly led to roles as a foreman and regional project manager, where he managed complex projects and coordinated with subcontractors to ensure seamless execution.
Growing up in a family of builders who constructed high-end custom homes, Roy developed an eye for detail that ensures every project meets the highest standards. Taking a four-year break from contracting, he explored his passion for technology as a self-taught software engineer, working as a solutions architect for a large financial and legal services firm. This experience added another layer of expertise to his skill set. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys woodworking and carpentry, hobbies that reflect his love for craftsmanship and detail. Ron Maggio
Director of Business Development
Ron Maggio is a licensed general contractor with over two decades of experience in construction and project management. He began his career in Florida, earning an associate degree from the M.E. Rinker, Sr. School of Building Construction at the University of Florida, followed by a Finance & Management degree from Florida Atlantic University in 2001. Ron helped qualify and lead RJM Homes’ largest division on Florida’s west coast, overseeing the construction of more than 200 homes and gaining deep expertise in concrete and structural systems.
After relocating to the DMV area, Ron met Roy Gabriel through a shared passion for rock climbing. Their mutual respect for craftsmanship and building science led to the formation of Gabriel Maggio Construction. Together, they’ve built a company that blends Roy’s master carpentry with Ron’s project leadership and structural know-how.
The company operates with a fiscally conservative and selective approach, working with purpose and intention to serve clients whose values align with their commitment to quality. Both partners still enjoy getting their hands dirty and building strong relationships with the people they work for. They take ownership of every project, personally ensuring the finished product meets their high standards before it’s delivered to the client.
Licensed as a NASCLA commercial builder, the firm is positioned to work across multiple states and maintains active joint ventures with Florida-based contractors. From the Mid-Atlantic to the Hawaiian Islands, their adaptability, attention to detail, and collaborative process allow them to execute complex renovations in a wide range of climates, always with integrity and craftsmanship at the core.
